The Direction of Ability & Vision
Optimism & Creativity
In our learning to be together
grows a relationship of acceptance. Accepting you into the sacred space that I create for us both. In being together in sanctuary we allow each to learn and grow. Through trusting in us we begin to bring forth the best we are. In our union we find a vision of what we can create together. In our path of connection we embrace each other and all of life. |
Optimism
Expecting goodness and finding it everywhere. Knowing the world operates by divine law. The next moment cannot be anything, but as good as the previous. Optimism is not expectation. It’s a feeling of being without error. Confidence in the natural flow that we surf with delight. Error is the illusion of our pride, the ignorance of law and being, the need for change to build the “I”. A resistance, not an understanding. Being part of every moment, every thought, and every feeling. Part of the fabric of the universe, optimism is a natural weave in our existence. |
The old meaning of optimism assumes that the present moment is awful. In this old sense, optimism is a hope that the next moment will be better than this one. What a pessimistic way to have optimism!
Optimism is knowing how the flow works, that one moment flows into another. That as we expect goodness, we find that it is everywhere. Sometimes it is covered with a bit of dust or tarnish, but it’s there none the less. Our denial of this goodness is what causes us to “need” optimism about the next moment. We want the next moment to change. The only change that needs to occur is our response to the conditions presented in the next moment. This new kind of optimism is not a hope that is pulled out when circumstances don’t match our desires. This optimism is an eternal knowing that the flow is always going in the required direction. Our ignorance of that is our resistance. Our confidence in the natural flows urges us to dust off the hidden goodness and polish away the tarnish so others may find the goodness in this moment. Our place is in goodness, our direction is toward the optimism that there is always goodness in the next moment if we are willing to let go of our illusions and respond to that moment from true perception. |
Creativity
The “I” denies it, yet you create every moment every thought and feeling, every aspect of your world. Creativity is inspiration, the breathing in of our Essence. Bringing to be what always was, living in the purpose of our being. To see, feel, and know drives the perpetual creation of the image of beauty of who we truly are in all that is. To be is to create. The mirror reflects the joy or the sorrow, the divine or the darkness. Your choice is easy when you’re in the light. |
Everyone believes that they personally have little to no creativity. Creativity is as much a part of each of us as the cells that make up our bodies. Creativity is seeing the possibilities in a pile of resources. It is a form of optimism, to see what is good, useful, and enjoyable laying in front of you, perhaps unnoticed.
Creativity is the very Essence of who you are. Your cells create nutrients from their environment. Your body creates hormones to guide your day. Your mind creates endlessly. Creativity is making decisions. You make many decisions from the moment you rise in the morning. Creativity is not just about art, it is about creating every new moment in your life. Yet our creativity is shackled by our attachment to the “I” that drives our day. The “I” protects us by not wanting change. It is the guard dog at our gate that prevents the beauty of the next moment from entering. Reclaim the entrance to your world by realizing that you create every moment, every thought, and every feeling that you have. The power is yours. To be is to create. Creativity is not a skill, it is who you are. It cannot be otherwise. Relish and enjoy this, knowing you have the power to create your response to the world and your enjoyment of every next moment. Creativity is your ability to share this with the world. |
